Description

This project focused on anti-slavery and abiolitionist activism in C19th Britain, especially in Yorkshire.  It brought together activists, actors, academics and members of the public to develop knowledge about a history which stills needs better investigation.

Publications and outputs

A guided walk led by Joe Williams of Heritage Corner; a set of public lectures at the Leeds Library; the preformance of a play titled "Meet the Crafts" by Joe Williams - also at the Leeds Library.
