PCI Lecture Series

The School of Performance and Cultural Industries hosts a rich programme of Public Lectures across the year, including inaugural lectures, invited speakers and industry leaders. Our cutting edge public events engage our community - students, academics and partners in the city and beyond - to experience the range of engaging topics in the school: from cultural value, audience research, cultural policy, performance research, scenographic practice as research or applied practices in specific contexts amongst others. We also hold other forms of public events, including a Lunchtime Series with researchers returning from study leave, and a themed PCI Seminar Series.
We see these public events as a key part of the School’s Research Culture, and we are pleased to have engagement from Research groups, recipients of study leave and invited speakers. We include PGRs as chairs and aim to reach the breadth of our School’s research community with inspiring, engaging and relevant research.
