Working in partnership

The School of Performance and Cultural Industries has established many collaborative links with creative organisations in Leeds and the Yorkshire Region, the UK and across the world.

We are proud to work with organisations such as Leeds Playhouse, Opera North, DV8 Theatre, Slung Low, Red Ladder and many more to deliver outstanding events and opportunities for students, staff and people living in Leeds and the surrounding areas. We also work closely with local institutions like schools, hospitals, Leeds City Council, as well as a range of third sector organisations.

Professional Perspectives, a series of presentations by leading figures in the cultural industries, forms part of one of our masters courses and is one of many examples of how our students have opportunities to engage in debate and conversation with the industry.

Our work with teachers, which includes the annual drama teachers conference, marks the School’s ongoing commitment to arts education nationally.

Are you a teacher or advisor wanting to raise awareness of higher education? We work with schools and colleges across a range of arts and humanities subjects, either on campus or in schools.
