Participation and Social Practice Research Group

The Participation and Social Practice Research Group (working title) brings together academics, students and community collaborators committed to generating knowledge through creative, action-led, and participatory methods.
Though workshops, events, and network meetings, we are interested in exploring the intellectual debates of participation, as well as the tensions and possibilities that it generates in practice.
Emerging areas of interest include:
- cooperation and co-option;
- political traditions and genealogies of participation;
- the school’s historic roots in radical pedagogy;
- methods of thinking & being together.
Membership of the group includes academics, Posgtgraduate Researchers, taught postgraduate students, community collaborators and activists linked to research projects/networks.
