Professional Ethics

Prof ethics research group

Our research

Due to our collaborative relationships with a range of professional and industry bodies, including in the financial services and engineering sectors, we have developed an interest in professional ethics.

Our consultancy and training team carries out commissioned research, with past work including projects for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as the Banking Standards Board.

Research topics include integrity for organisations and professionalism in banking, parliamentary ethics, and AI and automation in the banking sector. Our work in these areas innovatively combines empirical (quantitative and qualitative) research methods with philosophical enquiry.
