An International Faculty

A man places a pin in a map of the world

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures attracts students and staff from all over the world thanks to our excellent national and international reputation, and the city of Leeds’ global and diverse community enables everyone to feel at home. In line with the Faculty’s Vision and Strategy for 2025-30 and the University’s International Strategy 2020-30, our goal is to keep building an inclusive global community, to integrate internationalisation across all our activities, and to deepen existing – and forge new – international collaborations.

The Language Zone

The University of Leeds’ Language Zone offers free resources to support language learning, with materials available in over 50 languages, including English. Open to all students and staff, the Language Zone provides both a dedicated study space and resource centre on campus, alongside online advice and digital learning tools.

AHC World Fair

Every year the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures hosts its annual World Fair, a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures, backgrounds, and nationalities that make up our community. It is a chance for staff and students to enjoy creative performances, global poetry, sample snacks and drinks from around the world, and come together in a spirit of connection and celebration.
