Dr Alaric Hall, Associate Professor in the School of English, has been appointed the new Director of the IMS, alongside a new Director of Postgraduate Research and Deputy Director.

Professor Ian N. Wood, IMS Emeritus Professor of Early Medieval History, was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in July 2019.
