The University offers a range of undergraduate funding to help support you during your time with us. In the video above, you can hear from BA English and Film Studies student Hannah about receiving a University scholarship.

Shirley Chew Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Within our School we offer one undergraduate scholarship to applicants from Singapore. It is named for Shirley Chew, Emeritus Professor of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Literature, and is awarded on the basis of academic excellence.

  • Value: £6,000 (deducted from tuition fees)
  • Eligibility: Singapore nationals applying to any undergraduate course in the School of English
