Music as Culture
Our research explores a rich variety of musicology from the seventeenth century to the present day. We pursue a diverse range of methodological approaches, from the critical to the applied, and explore the role of music within historical, theoretical, literary, aesthetic, technological, popular and interdisciplinary contexts. Our collaborative research is international in scope and engages museums, galleries and other cultural organisation and institutions.
