Studying abroad allows you to travel the world, enhance your degree at an international institution and broaden your cultural horizons.

Spending time in another country will demonstrate your independence and adaptability, provide opportunities to enhancing your practice and research and allow you to build networks with a community of like-minded people.

You decide if you would like to study abroad during your second year at Leeds and there is lots of advice and guidance available to help you make your decision, both within the School and through the Study Abroad office.

When do I study abroad?

You’ll usually study abroad during your third year, before returning to Leeds to complete your degree. 

You don’t need to decide whether you want to study abroad before you apply for your degree, you can make this decision when you start here.

When you return to Leeds, you’ll showcase your work in an exhibition to demonstrate how your art practice has been enhanced.

You’ll graduate with a BA Fine Art (International) degree.
