Pedagogic Research in the Arts (PRiA)

The Pedagogic Research in the Arts (PRiA) research group has published its summer newsletter

The newsletter provides an overview of PRiA’s aims, ambitions and activities as well as opportunities for members and those interested in joining the group.

With contributions from the Director of PRiA, Professor Edward Venn and incoming Chair Chiara La Sala, the PRiA Digital Newsletter outlines what PRiA does and what it aims to achieve in the near future. It also includes a summary of recent events and activities of its working group members. PRiA also extends its congratulations to the PRiA colleagues who recently received teaching awards from the university. Finally, PRiA's outgoing intern, Lilley Harris, offers some farewells in her final Intern's Note.

Notably, alongside the release of the newsletter comes the launch of The PRiA Podcast! Hosted by Lilley Harris and produced by Carl Hartley (Media and Communication), The PRiA Podcast features interviews with some of its funding recipients in conversation with Lilley. You can listen to season 1 here.

The newsletter will be particularly useful for colleagues at the University of Leeds within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Cultures who are interested in shaping their pedagogical practices and people interested in building a community for pedagogical research conversations.

As always, please get in touch with PRiA if you have any questions or are interested in connecting.
