Inclusion and Decoloniality in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures

In this interactive workshop, we will open up new developments in inclusive practice in the Faculty, with a focus on practical steps to help teachers implement inclusive practice in the classroom.

Dr Helen Finch (School of Languages, Cultures and Societies), Dr Milena Marinkova (The Language Centre), Dr Christina Nick (Interdisciplinary Ethics Applied Centre), and Saba Siddiqui (Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Cultures Student Advisory Board).

Christina Nick and Milena Marinkova will discuss how to support inclusive practice particularly in seminar discussions. Student intern Saba Siddiqui will introduce our new guide to decolonising student education that she has been working on. There will be plenty of time for discussion about how University strategy on decolonisation can practically support student success.
