Dr Ben Walmsley becomes new Co-Editor of Arts and the Market journal

Dr Walmsley will co-edit the journal alongside Laurie Meamber, Associate Professor of Marketing at George Mason University, USA. Placing two Co-Editors in key regions – North America and the UK – is a strategic decision made by Emerald Marketing with the intention to increase visibility, submissions, citations and downloads in these two key global hubs.

Arts and the Market has been performing very well over the last few years, including undergoing a title change in 2015 to reflect the scope of the research published in the journal and submissions and downloads have increased year on year. Emerald Marketing have in place a robust strategy to continue to push for further growth on an international scale in the next few years. Both Ben and Laurie have established backgrounds in the journal’s core research area of arts marketing and will continue to push and develop the journal in the years to come.
