About the lecture

This lecture will explore the theme of ‘secret’ histories (histories of the clandestine, taboo or underground), with a particular focus on archives. What challenges do we face when we try to access secretive aspects of the past, and how might we think outside the box to resolve these? Mari Takayanagi will draw on her experience as the Senior Archivist at the Parliamentary Archives in London to explore these questions.
