Areas of interest: Weimar literature and culture, interwar women’s writing, the socio-political role of interwar fashion, the role of the flâneuse and transnational women’s fiction of the early twentieth century.
I completed my BA in English Literature at The University of Sheffield (2017-22). I was awarded with a Masters scholarship in order to further my Literature studies at The University of Sheffield (2020-21). I am now a part-time PGR student specialising in women's interwar fiction in the literature of Irmgard Keun and Jean Rhys (2023-present). My main areas of research include Weimar culture (particularly fashion, literature and popular culture) , women’s metropolitan pleasure , and the role of the flâneuse through a feminist lens. In addition to my academic credentials, I hold a Trinity certTESOL qualification (Oxford International Teacher Training) and teach English remotely at a British Council accredited school.
