Profile

I hold a Master’s degree in Religion and Cross-Cultural Studies from Universitas Gadjah Mada, where I graduated in 2021 with a thesis titled "The Dynamic of Coptic Orthodoc Christians in the Largest Muslim Majority Country". I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature from Universitas Sebelas Maret in 2017. My professional experience includes serving as an adjunct lecturer at STAIDA Muhammadiyah Garut (2021–2022), where I taught  Christianity and the Anthropology of Religion, and as the Head of School at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Jannah Pangandaran (an islamic boarding school) (2022–2023). These roles reflect my dedication to exploring the intersections of religion, culture, and education in diverse contexts, which continues to inform my current research endeavors.

Research interests

My specialisation lies in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, with a particular focus on minority issues in the Middle East and the wider Islamic world. My academic interests include the comparative study of Abrahamic religions, Eastern Christianity, Arabic literature, and Islamic history and  civilisation.Through my work, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the region's diverse cultural, religious, and historical dynamics.
