Languages, Cultures and Societies represented at the University's Postgraduate Research Conference

Congratulations to all who participated in the annual University's PGR Conference Showcase 2016.

The Postgraduate Research Conference was held on Monday 05 December 2016. It was a huge success with 400 people in attendance and 130 entries across all categories.

We are incredibly proud of our wonderful LCS PGRs who took part in this event.

This year's Faculty nominees for PGR of the year are both from LCS - Joanna Allan (SPLAS) and Andy Moore (CWCDC) and there were two LCS entrants to the Three-Minute-Thesis competition, Fei Gao (CTS) and Sanah Mehnaz (AIMES).
Special congratulations go to 2016's LCS winners:
Andy Moore (PGR of the year, 3rd place);

Maria Hayley, Classics - (Poster Competition, 2nd place);

Polly Galis - French (Poster Competition winner of the people's vote);

Sanah Mehnaz (Three-Minute Thesis, 3rd place Sanah Mehnaz).
