Thea Pitman exhibits research at British Academy event
Dr Pitman poses the question ‘What does indigenous electronic art look like and how should it be exhibited?’
Thea will be exhibiting her research at the British Academy's annual two-day Summer Showcase in London on 21 and 22 June. Her installation brings together four interactive pieces made by Brazilian indigenous communities, along with a video about the way they were first shown at the Museum of Modern Art in Salvador, Brazil.
This free festival features 15 interactive exhibits alongside pop-up talks, workshops and performances, bringing the best new humanities and social sciences research to life.
