Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Twentieth-Century International History

Are you someone with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in international history?

The School of History at the University of Leeds is looking to appoint someone with expertise in research and teaching international history.  

A PhD or equivalent, relevant experience in History or a cognate discipline, and relevant teaching experience is a necessity.  

Your role will involve carrying out research and teaching in twentieth-century international history before 1945. You can expect to teach at all levels of our undergraduate programme.  

You will take the lead in developing new and innovative teaching relating to your research expertise, both through the development of your own portfolio of modules and via contributions to existing team-taught courses and programmes.  

Contributing to all of our undergraduate programmes is important, with a particular focus on the BA International History and Politics programme. A further contribution to our relevant MA programmes, including the MA in Modern History will also be required. Further duties of your role will include supervising research students and completing appropriate administrative duties within the School, Faculty and University.
