IMS Open Lecture: 'Women Writers and Book Collectors'

The first lecture in the 2018-19 IMS Open Lecture series will be presented by Elizabeth L'Estrange (University of Birmingham), and is titled, 'Women Writers and Book Collectors'.

IMS Open Lecture Series

Every year the IMS Open Lecture Series showcases cutting-edge research by leading scholars in important aspects of medieval studies. All lectures are free of charge, take place in the Nathan Bodington Council Chamber in the Parkinson Building, and are followed by a drinks reception. Lectures begin at 17:30.

Upcoming Lecture

The first IMS Open Lecture in the 2018-19 series, presented by Elizabeth L'Estrange (Lecturer in History of Art, Department of Art History, Curating & Visual Studies, University of Birmingham), is titled 'Women Writers and Book Collectors at the French Court in the Later Middle Ages'. L'Estrange is also an alumna of the IMS at the University of Leeds. 

The next lecture will take place on 6 November 2018, and will be presented by Anne E. Lester (Johns Hopkins University).
