We're very pleased to welcome Dr Karine Varley (University of Strathclyde), who will be discussing her new project on the Franco-Prussian War in the next School of History Research Seminar.
Her title will be 'Needless Sacrifice': The Legitimacy of Resistance in the Franco-Prussian War.
Dr Karine Varley is a historian of modern Europe with particular interests in modern French history and war.
