Jonathan Hui (University of Hong Kong) compares the fantasy writing of J.R.R. Tolkien (1892-1973) and the renowned Wuxia novelist, Jin Yong (1924-2018).
Wuxia, which literally means ‘martial heroes’, is a genre of Chinese fiction focusing on the adventures of martial artists in ancient China.
