Pontefract Magna Carta Society Sponsored Talk

James Titterton, an IMS PG Researcher at the University of Leeds, is presenting a talk about the Angevin Kings at the King's Croft Hotel, sponsored by the Pontefract Magna Carta Society.
The talk, titled 'The Devil's Brood at War', will discuss the war stratagems of the Angevin Kings. These are Kings Henry II, Richard I, and John, who ruled from 1154-1216. Titterton, IMS PG Researcher in the School of History, examines the practice and perception of deception in medieval warfare.
