A seminar by Professor Enrique García Hernán of the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales in Madrid.
The School of History is delighted to announce an extra bonus session of the Interdisciplinary Renaissance & Early Modern Seminar (IREMS) this January.
In collaboration with the Centre for the History of Ibero-America (CHIA), we are delighted to welcome Professor Enrique García Hernán of the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales in Madrid, to present a paper titled 'A Spaniard at Henry VIII’s court: the glory and decline of Juan Luis Vives'.
We anticipate that this seminar will be of great interest to colleagues working in a variety of disciplines and on a range of national contexts, and would be very happy if you could share this announcement within your own networks.
Please note the different time and slightly different room to events in semester 1:
