King and Harrison present a seminar entitled 'Journey with Absent Friends: Art, History and Collaboration'.
In this event, Ellie Harrison (artistic director of The Grief Series) and Laura King will discuss their work together over the last c.10 years, from a small public engagement stall at a market to international collaboration and multi-partner project. Ellie and Laura will reflect on what has made the partnership work well, and what can be particularly rewarding about an academic-artist collaboration, as well as the challenges in such an approach.
This event is part of the Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums series in the School of History.
