Overseas academic jobs workshop

A practical workshop focusing on opportunities and processes in the overseas job market for Early Career Researchers.

Organised by the Global Research Cluster, this workshop will be a chance to chat to visiting scholar Dr Chloe Ireton (UCL) and Dr Sean Fear about the overseas job market over coffee and biscuits.

With a focus on the North America job market, the session will provide an overview of the different types of application documents required, what to expect at interviews and campus visits, and general tips and suggestions.

The workshop will also include the perspectives of postgraduate researchers with recent experience of applying for jobs overseas.
