Our open day is a great way to find out about the range of research opportunities the School of History and Institute for Medieval Studies have to offer.

The open day is a great way to find out about the range of research opportunities (MA by Research/MPhil/PhD/PhD-Practice Led/PhD by distance learning) the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures has to offer as well as the overarching support and development opportunities available to Leeds postgraduate researchers through the newly established Leeds Doctoral College. You will have an opportunity to meet with staff and current research students from the faculty, learn about the research application process and funding opportunities. There will also be a seminar on ‘Writing a Research Proposal’, and a chance to explore our campus and facilities.

12:20-13:30, LUNCH (Concert Hall Foyer, School of Music)
Share lunch with others interested in postgraduate research, and find out about ongoing research projects from current postgraduates.

13:30-15:30, SCHOOL VISIT
Introductory talk by the Director of Postgraduate Research Studies about research in your host School, and an opportunity to meet with academic staff and current postgraduate researchers. School PGR Administrators will also be available to answer any queries you may have.
