Professor Simon Armitage launches BBC Radio 4 podcast

The Poet Laureate invites guests to join him in his garden shed to talk about life, language and the human voice.

In the new BBC Radio 4 podcast, The Poet Laureate Has Gone To His Shed, Professor of Poetry Simon Armitage introduces listeners to his special place of work and reflection – a cosy shed within his own garden.

The writer’s shed is now home to a series of podcasts that will explore poetry, music, literature and more with notable guests such as Kate Tempest, Maxine Peake, Lily Cole, Testament, Anthony Gormley and Guy Garvey.
