Join experts from the School of History at the Thackray Museum of Medicine Insights Lecture Series
The School of History has a thriving specialism in the history of health and medicine. In spring 2024, join experts from our School in conversation at the Thackray Museum of Medicine.
On Saturday 13th January 2024, Professor Manuel Barcia Paz and Dr Alexia Moncrieff will present ‘A Shared Struggle: Experimentation, Knowledge and Empire’.
Soon afterwards, on Saturday 3rd February 2024, Professor Sanjoy Bhattacharya will present ‘The Politics of Pandemics’, together with Dr Hannah Elizabeth from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Then on Saturday 4th May 2024, Dr Iona McCleery will present ‘Feast and Famine’, together with Dr Jonny Geber from the University of Edinburgh.
