Join experts from the School of History at the Thackray Museum of Medicine Insights Lecture Series

The School of History has a thriving specialism in the history of health and medicine. In spring 2024, join experts from our School in conversation at the Thackray Museum of Medicine.

On Saturday 13^th January 2024, Professor Manuel Barcia Paz and Dr Alexia Moncrieff will present ‘A Shared Struggle: Experimentation, Knowledge and Empire’.

Soon afterwards, on Saturday 3^rd February 2024, Professor Sanjoy Bhattacharya will present ‘The Politics of Pandemics’, together with Dr Hannah Elizabeth from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Then on Saturday 4^th May 2024, Dr Iona McCleery will present ‘Feast and Famine’, together with Dr Jonny Geber from the University of Edinburgh.
