Times Higher Education ranks University of Leeds in global top 100 institutions for arts and humanities in 2025
THE evaluated 750 universities from 72 countries and territories according to their contributions to the broad range of disciplines that make up the arts and humanities
The University of Leeds has been ranked 64th – up from 69th – in the world for study and research in the arts and humanities, according to the prestigious 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject.
This year, THE evaluated 750 universities from 72 countries and territories according to their contributions to the broad range of disciplines that make up the arts and humanities. The ranking draws on 18 performance indicators while the methodology is based on 157 million citations, 18 million research publications, and survey responses from more than 93,000 scholars globally.
