Celebrating two book launches this week

It's been a busy week for colleagues in the Centre for Religion and Public Life at Leeds with two book launches.

Women in British Buddhism: Commitment, Connection, Community

Dr Caroline Starkey is Associate Professor of Religion and Society in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science and a member of the Centre for Religion and Public Life. Her new book has just been published by Routledge, in the series Critical Studies in Buddhism.

Kenyan, Christian, Queer: Religion, LGBT Activism, and Arts of Resistance in Africa 

Dr Adriaan Van Klinken is Associate Professor of Religion and African Studies in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science and a member of the Centre for Religion and Public Life. His new book has been published by Penn State University.
