9 October 2024 – CEPRA/PRIA Workshop: What does it mean to teach in the ‘studio’?

An in-person workshop examining what it means to teach in the studio.

6 November 2024 – Measuring Impact: what counts as evidence in language education?

The first of the CELT 2024-2025 Methodology Workshops series.

11 November 2024 – PRIA Workshop: Decolonising the teaching of global communication

This PRIA-funded project examined global scholarship and pedagogy of international communication, in support of the development of a textbook the presenters are co-authoring.

4 December 2024 – Teaching with IIIF: A Collections-Based Approach

An online talk with colleagues from the IIIF Community Group for Education sharing their hands-on experience of teaching with visual cultural heritage collections.

15 January 2025 – Innovating COIL in the Arts and Humanities at Leeds

Exploring new possibilities for incorporating collaborative online international learning (COIL) into arts and humanities pedagogies at Leeds.

22 January 2025 – Student Education and Experience Staff and Scholarship in AHC

This workshop is designed for Student Education and Experience Staff who are interested in developing their existing and future innovative practices through Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

5 February 2025 – What constitutes scholarship in the Arts and Humanities?

Speakers including Edward Venn (Director of PRIA), Sascha Stollhans (Pro-Dean for Student Education) and Matthew Treherne (Pro-Dean for Research and Innovation).

7 May 2025 – PRiA/LITE Workshop: Fundamentals of Research Ethics in Pedagogic Research and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

One of the major barriers to undertaking pedagogic research (PedR) and scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) activities is research ethics. This workshop will address key questions when thinking about research ethics in this context.
