- Thesis title: Metasemantics for Normative Realism
- Supervisors: Professor J Robert G Williams, Professor Pekka Väyrynen
Profile
I am a PhD student in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science funded by the White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities.
My current research concerns the grounds of normative representation. The first core question I am interested in addressing is whether metasemantic objections to moral realism can be extended as objections to other forms of normative realism including metaepistemological realism. The second central question I am interested in is whether interpretationism can be used to address these objections and provide a cogent and unified metasemantic theory for normative realist positions of various kinds.
