Profile
I am the global lead for digital ethics at Avanade, a large tech innovation and consulting firm. In this role, I'm responsible for developing digital ethics fluency and change for our employees around the world as well as for advising our clients on their digital ethics journey. Previously, I was a VP and research director at Forrester Research, where I led the company’s coverage and consulting related to corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
I earned a Master’s Degree in Business Ethics and Compliance from the New England College of Business and Finance and a Bachellor’s Degree in Business from California State University, Fresno.
Research interests
I’m interested in risk and trust relationships, especially in cases with a significant power imbalance and a distinction between primary decision-making party and primary risk-exposed party. My research is examining ethical responsibilities of such decision-making parties that would lead risk-exposed parties to consider them trustworthy.
