Helen Steward will give the Justin Hartnack Memorial Lecture at the University of Aarhus on 17th November. The lecture will be called 'Touch and Sensation' and will address the general question how phenomenology matters to the mind through a consideration of the role played by touch sensations in our tactile awareness of the world.

Previous Hartnack lecturers have included Simon Blackburn, John McDowell, Jonathan Dancy, Robert Pippin, Barbara Herman, Simon Critchley, Axel Hutter, Rainer Forst, Onora O'Neill, Stephen Darwall, Jonathan Lear, Nancy Cartwright, Jay Wallace, and Otavio Bueno.
