Black History Month
Running throughout October, Black History Month provides an opportunity to learn, acknowledge and celebrate Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) cultures.
Leeds11 – the BAME staff network – together with partners and friends have organised a series of free celebratory events based on this year’s theme of ‘Proud To Be’, featuring talks, podcasts, lectures, film screenings and more.
Parkinson Building will also be lit up red, yellow and green throughout October to further highlight the programme.
