I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for 10 years, beginning my teaching career in Madrid. I worked in schools, summer camps and taught at a private language school. Following my return to the UK I completed a Masters in English Language and Linguistics. My teaching experience increased to include English for Academic Purposes (EAP) when I worked on the University of Southampton and the University of Leeds summer pre-sessional courses. I have been working at the University of Leeds since 2014 and my EAP experience has expanded due to my involvement in International Foundation Year and the content-based pre-sessional courses.
