I started teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in 2008 in Madrid, Spain. I worked in primary and secondary schools, summer camps and taught adults at a private language school. Following my return to the UK I completed a Masters in English Language and Linguistics at Sheffield Hallam University. I began teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) when I worked on the University of Southampton and the University of Leeds summer pre-sessional courses from 2010 and I have been working full-time at the University of Leeds since 2014. My EAP teaching experience includes all levels from pre-undergraduate to postgraduate researchers and I have been module leader of many Language Centre modules each year since 2015.
