Profile
Since joining the Language Centre in 2012, I have worked on the International Foundation Year, several postgraduate pre-sessional programmes, and bespoke in-sessional programmes in the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Earth and Environment, where I was involved with the Saudi Aramco hosted MSc. I am currently seconded to the School of Chemical and Process Engineering. developing a programme of support for their MSc students which aligns with the University’s key Inclusivity and Internationalisation policies.

Research interests
My research interests are related to pedagogical corpus linguistics, i.e. the use of corpora and corpus research tools in teaching and learning. I am currently exploring the affordances of emerging AI technology for language learning and literacy.
