Profile
I am a PhD student in Interpreting Studies at the University of Leeds, working under the supervision of Professor Wang and Dr. Clare Wright. My research integrates Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and Interpreter Education to investigate language change in student interpreters. Before joining the University of Leeds, I completed my BA in Linguistics in 2022 and my MA in TESOL in 2023 at the University of York.
Alongside my academic career, I am a certified ESOL teacher with a Level 5 CertTESOL obtained from the University of York and Trinity College London. I have been working as a freelance ESOL teacher for two years, teaching adult learners for over 100 hours.
