Profile
In 2016, I obtained my MA degree in Translation Studies from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. I obtained my CELTA certificate in 2017 and worked as an English teaching assistant at Colleges of Excellence in Saudi Arabia which provide vocational training for students. In 2020, I commenced my work as a lecturer of translation at Prince Sattan bin Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia where I taught undergraduates translation cources (Introduction to Translation and Translation from English into Arabic).
I am currently conducting my PhD study at the University of Leeds under the supervission of Dr. Callum Walker and Dr. Sara Ramos Pinto. My project focuses on the professional idnetity of translators and their working conditons.
