Careers in German: working in Germany

A talk by Alex Pickering from the Goethe Institute.

Alex works in association with the Goethe Institut, has worked in Germany and with German companies. He’ll be talking about working in Germany, cultural differences and norms, as well as giving some handy career tips. The talk is interactive and will be followed by a Q&A session.

This is of interest to all German at Leeds students who want to find out more about German (work) culture and cultural differences. It will be of particular interest to students:

• who are considering a summer placement in Germany
• preparing for a year/term abroad in Germany (especially for work placements) and 
• finalists regarding employment after graduation in Germany but also more generally

Students who do not study German as part of their degree are welcome to attend.
