Centre for Translation Studies practical taster sessions

- Date: Wednesday 6 March 2024, 14:00 – 18:00
- Location: University of Leeds
- Cost: Free
On 6 March, the Centre for Translation Studies invites students to attend dedicated taster sessions involving translation, subtitling, and interpreting.
The Centre for Translation Studies (CTS) is running an introduction session on its MA programmes and three dedicated ‘taster sessions’. You will have the opportunity to see our translation labs, and try our specialised software tools for translation and for subtitling, and our interpreting booths. These sessions are for undergraduate students and offer an insight into postgraduate study in these areas, and potential career paths.
We recommend you to sign up for the introduction session, which provides an overview of the programmes, and then to sign up for as many of the taster sessions as you wish. You can use the links below to register. Please sign up as soon as possible, as places are limited, and will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis. If there is high demand, we may be able to run additional sessions and/or find alternative venues.
