The University of Leeds was pleased to welcome the final four lectures from the 'Marginalisation and the Law' public Lecture Series to campus over the past few weeks.

Members of the IMS collaborated with the University of Poitiers from 7-10 June 2018 as part of a recent agreement between the IMS and CESCM, which offers teaching and research opportunities.

This year the IMS Medieval Group hosted seven well-attended and varied events, from a research afternoon to a candle workshop to visiting nearby medieval sites.

We have two Teaching Fellow posts advertised, with a closing date of Friday 29th June.

On Wednesday 30th May 2018, the School of History welcomed historian Gavan McCormack for an evening lecture on the topic of "Japan's troubled relationship with American military bases.
