The International Medieval Bibliography (IMB) Celebrates 50 Years
To celebrate 50 years since the launch of the IMB, the IMB and Brepols Publishers are inviting all delegates of the IMC 2018 to enter the online IMB Quiz, with a chance of winning various prizes.
The International Medieval Bibliography (IMB) is the leading interdisciplinary bibliography of the Middle Ages, and is produced by an editorial team at the University of Leeds and some 30 contributors worldwide. Much of the material catalogued by the IMB is provided by a worldwide network of contributors, recruited from academics, librarians, and archivists. The Editor is Dr Alan V. Murray, and the IMB can be accessed online here.
The 50th anniversary of the IMB will be celebrated in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Institute for Medieval Studies (IMS) and the 25th anniversary of the International Medieval Congress (IMC) at this year's IMC, which will be held at the University of Leeds from 2-5 July 2018.
All IMC 2018 delegates are invited to enter the online IMB quiz as a way to celebrate the IMB's 50th anniversary. This quiz is co-sponsored by Brepols Publishers. Multiple prizes are available, with the top prize being a trip to Bruges, Belgium; runners-up will receive book prizes.
Registration for IMC 2018 is available here; the deadline is 12 May 2018.
