Watch Zhuoyun give advice to international students joining Leeds

Zhuoyun, a History student from China, talks about visiting the UK and being fascinated by the history of Leeds, her favourite modules, and making friends at International Freshers Week.

Zhuoyun Hou came to the UK on a study tour in 2014 and says "the profound historical feeling of English cities and the systematic and scientific education attracted me to conduct my studies there". Zhuoyun was particularly attracted to the access to medieval history around Leeds and also in Europe.

In Zhuoyun's video (below), she talks about the highlights of her time studying BA History, gives advice about who to contact for Visa queries, and the activities that took place during International Freshers Week.

International Freshers Week has a global café every night, providing a chance for me to communicate with other international students and meet new friends. It is also a good chance to be familiar with the campus. For Chinese students, the International Admissions Office has a live BiliBili (a website) before your arrival, where they explain some basic information about university and also give advice for overseas study.
