Bodies Ignored/Obsessed: Skeletons Exhibition Guided Tour

Both students and members of the public are invited to attend an exclusive guided tour of the new Skeletons exhibition at Leeds City Museum.

A unique exhibition, in partnership with the Museum of London and the Wellcome Collection, Skeletons provides a rare glimpse into the lives of the individuals who have gone before us and the history beneath our feet. Ruth Martin, the lead curator of the exhibition, will be talking us through the skeletons of an Iron Age male and female found buried together at Wattle Syke near Wetherby, a medieval soldier killed at the Battle of Towton and a victim of the Black Death from London.

For those who don’t know how to get to the City Museum, we will be meeting at 11am outside of the Parkinson Building and walking down to the Museum for an 11.30am start. There will be an opportunity to buy lunch together at the Museum Café. Places on this tour are limited, so if you would like to reserve a spot, please contact us as soon as possible.
