Exhibition Launch - 80th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War

Leeds Central Library opens public exhibition with free talks from the School of History.
Leeds Central Library will host two exhibitions to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War and detail its history, with exhibitions from the International Brigade Memorial Trust and the Basque Children of ’37 Association.
To mark the official opening, Scott Ramsay and Peter Anderson from the School of History will give public talks to situate the exhibitions within their historical context.
From 5.30pm attendees will be able to explore the exhibitions and enjoy a free drinks reception.
