What are the links between German history and the current migrant 'crisis'? Dr Jane Wilkinson participates in discussion and Q and A after Red Ladder's new production of Brecht's Mother Courage.
Join German at Leeds for this exciting Q&A about migrant theatre, theatre on the move, refugees and borders in Brecht's iconic play.
Dr Wilkinson's research on post-migrant theatre explores representations of migration and transnational experience in contemporary German-speaking drama and theatre. This project builds on previous work on cross-border cultural events and performances at the German-Polish Border and at Lake Constance.
Red Ladder's radical show, including refugee voices, links Brecht's play to the current migrant crisis in an immersive production.
