Profile
I am a PhD student focussing on cross-disciplinary design using technology and music to investigate music-integrated sensory garments.
I graduated from Leeds Conservatoire in 2021 with a BA in Music (Jazz) and subsequently completed my MA at the University of Sheffield in Music Psychology. During my MA I became increasingly interested in music and health. Work I did after completing my MA as a 1-1 support worker in a primary school led me to become interested in how music, health and design could coalesce to create devices that promote well-being.
Outside of my PhD studies I frequently perform music around the UK. I have a particular passion for improvised music.
