Profile

I obtained a PhD through the data-based comparative analysis of children's body size and sizing between the UK and Korea. I conducted MA research about pattern cutting methods application to account for different body types. Prior to this, I also completed an MA in Fashion Design and BSc in Home Economics (Clothing and Textile) in Korea.

Research interests

I am investigating the Fashion Design potential for innovative and transformative technologies. I am currently engaged in researching digital technologies adjustment to garment manufacturing, sustainable garment construction, and interdisciplinary practices with pedagogy.

Student education

I teach pattern cutting and garment construction in manual and digital methods to undergraduate students in Fashion Design. I supervise MA and PhD research projects related to my areas of expertise.
